How to Enter a Leave Request

Begin by clicking on the ‘Leaves’ app in the HR Cloud.

There are two ways to initiate entering leaves.

One is by clicking the ‘New’ button the other is simply by selecting the date range from the calendar view. Both of these options will open the ‘New’ leave entry screen. The only difference between the two is the dates being preselected in the latter option.

Select the Leave type from the drop-down box.

The amount of allocated days of leave remaining are stated in brackets next to their respective leave type.

The duration of the leave is calculated automatically depending on the dates selected, considering whether there are non-working days such as weekends and public holidays. If there are non-working days, they are also deducted from the total duration. The same calculation also applies for the ‘Return date’ field and automatically displays the date of return to work.

There is also the option to select half day leaves which are divided as morning and afternoon.
