How to Create a Quotation

Learn how to create Quotations with CloudOffix:

As per almost everything in CloudOffix, there’s more than one way to create a quotation. However, we will begin with creating a quotation through the sales module directly.

Starting from your app drawer home page, click onto the Sales Module. This will take you to the quotations page.

Fig 2: Create a ‘New’ Quotation

Click the ‘New’ button.

In the quotation form view, make sure to fill in the compulsory lines such as Customer, Invoice address, Delivery address, and Pricelist.

You may also fill in the Expiration Date, Payment Terms if applicable to your business.

If you have a pre-defined Quotation template, you may also select from the dropdown field

Order Lines

The Order Lines Tab is where you add the sale items to your quotation simply by clicking Add an item.

Product Line

In the create Order Lines form view that pops up on your screen, either select or create a new product.

Mandatory Fields

Enter the Ordered quantity and their respective units

You can enter your taxes as an amount or select one you had created earlier from the drop down list.

Delivery Lead Time defines the number of days between order confirmation and delivery of the goods to your customers.

Save selections and changes

Discounts can be offered as a total, in percentages, or as a rate.

Once you have completed your order lines /items, Click either Save & Close if you don’t have anymore entries, or, Save & New to continue adding items.

Other Information Tab

Returning back to the quotation screen, the tab ‘Other Information’ has valuable information such as Shipping, Sales information, Invoicing, and Reporting.

Once your quotation is completed, click on the Save button.

Now you have the options to Print or Send by Email.
