In today's business, collaboration is getting famous and widespread every day. Mobility is everywhere, and we need to make discussions for business cases with each other. Thus, people are all looking for collaboration platforms. Some people are using Whatsapp, iMessage, or any messaging application on their mobiles and some people are using cloud platforms like Slack, Rocket.Chat or Mattermost. The problem is the same for all these platforms: Business Context is the missing part.
What do we mean by Business Context?
Let's think that you are working on a proposal for one of your prospects. You have competitors there, and you need to offer very competitive pricing. Thus, you need to have approval for the special discount you want to make from your manager. The approval is urgent, and you can not wait. Therefore, you contacted your manager through WhatsApp. Your manager asked you to share the link to the proposal that you created in your CRM or ERP system. You need to go back to your business application where you created the proposal, copy the link, and paste it to the chat message. Then, your manager visits the link, sees the proposal, all details including the discount, and then replies via chat message to tell you to make some modifications to the proposal. These discussions most probably continue back and forward, but changes on the proposal continue on the business app you use. Thus, collaboration and business context are at different platforms, and this is not the best way to collaborate.
