Is working digitally beneficial or essential?

It is not possible to predict the situation we currently face months in advance. Companies are trying to relocate from their office location to their homes. The difficulty of this process very much depends on how digital the company is. We have seen in a short amount of time that if the digital capabilities of a company are high enough, working remotely is not a big issue. The result of Covid-19 is that having a workforce equipped with digital skills is not only good to have, but it is now very essential.
Digital, mobility, and collaboration tools have been put to the test during the Pandemic situation. Let's take collaboration as an example. Nearly all of the meetings are virtual, and we need to have the tools to efficiently collaborate on business data. While working in an office, when we have a question, we can knock on colleagues' door and contact them quickly. What about when we are working from home? We should be able to share information and discussion topics through a collaboration tool with business data without any burdens.
During these tough times, we also need to maintain an excellent customer experience. We all know that this situation will change in the future, and our business should continue seamlessly. The success of our company will very much depend on how we serve our customers during this Pandemic. This means that the tools we use for customer experience are essential. Our staff should be able to help and communicate with customers without any problems. For example, your customer support service should be reachable from anywhere, and we should solve our customers' issues as quickly as possible.
The result is that Covid-19 is changing our business and society rapidly we have never seen before. One thing that is not changing is the value of our employees and customers, and to make them happy, we need to equip our company with the digital tools, and change all our manual processes to digital as quickly as possible. Where we do business should not be a concern for our operations.
