How to Create an Incoming Call Entry

Keep Precise and Detailed Entries on all Incoming Calls

Incoming calls is like digital note taking for incoming calls. The entries will stay in the system and will never be lost.

In the App drawer screen, in the ‘Social Cloud’ drawer, click on the ‘Incoming Calls’ app.

Click ‘New’ to create a new incoming call entry.

Complete the mandatory fields.

Call Topic: Select the call topic from the dropdown list or create a new one.

Company/Organization: Select from the dropdown list or create and edit a new one.

Contact: The contact field will fill automatically if the contact exists in the company card, otherwise or select from the list or create and edit a new contact entry.

Assign the incoming call to the relevant person.

Once the incoming call is assigned to someone, the status bar will change from ‘Open’ to ‘Assigned’.

The ‘Chatter’ on the right side of the screen shows all the details about the incoming call entry. The assigned person will receive an email notifying them of the assignment, and an activity will be created.

To the top left of the screen, either convert the call to an opportunity, or Close.
